Hello Everyone Smile

I installed Windows Server 2016 on AWS, and I use via RDP to connect .
So my question is how i can secure the RDP?.
And why its not trusted?

Download the cert, add it manually to Trusted certificates...

All rdp certificates are self-signed by default. There isn't a huge need to update the cert, but if you really want to, check here: https://www.aventistech.com/2019/08/repl...rtificate/


However, changing the cert really doesn't secure it any more aside from protecting against some man-in-the-middle attacks. If your rdp is internet-facing, I highly recommend firewalling it to only allow access from where you need.

vpn behind rdp connection and keep long password. Most rdp cracking tools are slow as fuck
